Privacy

Your trip, your data, and your decision how to use the app.

Plan To Travel is built as a free tool in which the user can decide what to use and what not. It is purely made to help the user in planning their trip without the need of a subscription, advertisement or storing your data for other intended purposes.

Free & subscriptionless

No subscription. No payment. No hidden tier.

Plan To Travel is completely free to use. There is no premium plan, no feature locked behind a paywall, and no trial period. The full app — map, timeline, budget, notes, packing — is available to everyone from day one, with or without an account.

Passwords

Email and password. Nothing else.

If you make an account, all I ask for is an email and a password. Passwords are hashed before being stored — even I can't read them. No phone numbers, no social login, no marketing checkboxes.

Tracking

Zero third-party analytics.

No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no session-replay tooling, no ads. The only thing I count is anonymous total trips created — to know whether the free database tier is filling up.

Local-first

Your browser is a valid backend.

Without an account, your trips never leave your machine. They live in your browser's local storage. The server doesn't know you exist, and that's by design.

Export

Plain, portable data.

The export file is a single, readable document. Open it, archive it, send it to a friend. If Plan To Travel ever shuts down, your trips don't go with it.

Deletion

One click to delete everything.

Accounts can be deleted from the Account view. The button does what it says: removes your trips and your account record. No soft-delete, no recovery window, no email begging you to come back.

In plain language

What the server actually stores.

# If you have an account
· email, password_hash
· your trips: name, countries, dates, banner image URL
· last_modified timestamp

# If you don't
· nothing. you're a stranger.

# Ever
· no IP logs beyond the host's standard 30-day request log
· no behavioural tracking, no email scraping
· no selling, sharing, or "partner data exchange"
